Children & Youth

We work hard to bring the love of Christ to all our children and youth

Gone are the days of bleak walls and boring books.  So many things compete for our children’s attention! Kids today are bombarded with TV, video games, cell phones, pop stars, movies, etc. like never before. So what chance does a Sunday School have? We believe it has the greatest chance!

In fact, we believe when you combine the greatest story ever told with an exciting, fast-paced environment filled with visuals, drama, music, and multimedia you can’t go wrong.

PreK- 5th Grades

Jesus is recorded in the Gospels as saying, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” When children are present, you can easily see evidence of it. We want to create relationships in church and memories of church that will last a lifetime. We have Sunday school, upcoming Wednesday night programs, Vacation Bible School, church camps and other various holiday celebrations throughout the year to bring about growth in our children and growth to God’s Word. Bring your family to be a part of the wonderful ministry for children.

This group is divided into three groups: PreK & K, 1st & 2nd Grade, and 3rd-5th grades.

6th - 8th Grades

When young people reach the age of pre-teen and early teenage years, they begin to question things in their life more. Changes are taking place and they want to know why. They also want to develop relationships that will help to define them and what they believe. We use relationships with peers and with adults as well as the Bible to help them determine which path they will choose and how they experience God.

9th - 12th Grades

In high school, young people have reached a period of their life when they have to begin preparing for adulthood.  They will be deciding  on colleges or careers, on relationships and independence. Our Senior High Ministry (9th-12th grade) works to help them in creating their future. We want to use the Bible and topical discussion to assist them in developing their own philosophy and theology. We look to have fellowship and accountability with one another and we want to help to nurture their relationship with Christ through camps. Bible Study, team building and activities. Through Scripture, we have adopted the philosophy that the main thing is to serve God by serving others.
